Book Review: Take A Hint Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert

This book was just as good, if not better than, the first.

I loved this. I was wary when starting the second book in the Brown Sisters series, as I’d loved the first book so much. However, this book was just as good, if not better than, the first.

Take A Hint, Dani Brown tells the story of Dani Brown – professor, witch and commitment phobe – and her friendship (turned more) with Zafir Ansari – grouchy security guard, secret romantic and man with a painful past.

When a mishap with a workplace fire drill leads to a viral video of Dani in Zafir’s arms, they become a local social media sensation. The upside of pretending to be in a fake relationship the internet is shipping, happens to be the much needed floods of donations to Zafir’s childrens charity.

Their plan is to pretend date for just three weeks. Nothing more. However, the best laid plans often go awry.

As with the first book the sexual tension that was built up between these friends was perfection. Both characters were endearing in their own ways, and it was a joy to watch these two characters support each other and fall in love in the process.

The level of drama created was just right and not over-the-top, the secondary characters were just as endearing as the main hero and heroine and the representation in this book was great.

If you like sexy, sweet, funny books about a couple with off-the-charts levels of chemistry and some very spicy scenes then this could be a read for you.
